Founder of Carolina Ingredients in 1990, Doug started the organization as a distribution company and restructured the company into a nationally recognized and award-winning seasoning manufacturer. Recently, Mr. Meyer-Cuno sold the business to Mitsubishi while becoming the first privately owned company to be acquired by the global Japanese firm. Doug has created Empowered Leadership which focuses on mentoring Entrepreneurs, CEOs, and Senior Management Teams to empower their associates in a manner that maximizes each team member’s potential by holding them accountable to their responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators.
